About
In 1978 Horsefeathers started out as a family farm in Warren County, Ohio. At that time we raised Arabian horses an ornamental birds. Then in 1989, with help of friends at the zoo, I received my first Joey, I named her Matilda . She only weighed, one pound, 9 ounces. With the help of Kitty Malory (author of “Practical Guide to Raising Wallabies”) I saved Matilda from her fate by feeding her every three hours, around the clock. By the time Matilda was “out of harms way”, I was hooked. I’ve been propagating Wallabies ever since, producing more than 100 Joeys.
We are USDA family farm in South West Ohio specializing in the propagation of Wallabies. We distribute to zoo’s throughout North America.
